hey all- i have breaking news
apparently, studies at harvard show that downloading is like the radio- ppl listen to a song, then if they like the song, they buy the album
however, the riaa continues to accuse file sharers for its problems, and as a result:
1.) CDs will be sold for like 10 bucks more
2.) 500 or so file sharers will continue to be sued every few months
3.) downloading remains illegal (duh)

yeah, that's kinda what i do...even if i download a whole album offline, if i really like it i'll buy it 1) to support the artist, and b)album art, and the real cd is just so much better than crappy mp3's

its funny about file sharing my mother really doesnt know anything about the computer and i want to download music and she gets all hissy fit ish she is all no man thats illegal and its funny because otherwise i used to do it on my grandmothers comp. and its not like i share files...unlike other people *cough* *cough*

frankly i dont think my mother will ever be the wiser when it comes to the computer. When she uses it and it goes slow she blames me for it and if she is on Aol or as she calls it the little fat headed yellow man she says i tamper with her sounds and continually asks me to make it moo again ARGH! and here i thought my mother was technically inclined
